Job Description

We are looking for a senior level networking and systems engineer with at least 4 years of experience designing, building and maintaing business networks and client server infrastructure. This person will be responsible for managing the technology that powers Firespring's team members. In short: we're looking for someone to take Firespring's internal systems to the next level. The ideal candidate is going to have a strong mix of Cloud, Linux, and Windows skills, and can design a VLAN segregated network in their sleep. You understand that security and business continuity are the core of all technology decisions and you are prepared to work with other technology leads and our management team to help us make educated decisions.

  • Experience implementing enterprise SSO systems (whether along-side AD or stand alone)
  • Experience running Linux servers in a production environment.
  • Experience with AWS, Cloudformation, Chef, puppet or other configuration management
  • Some experience and knowledge of vulnerability scanning and patch automation, advanced email threat detection and EDR
  • Proficient in NGFW configuration, monitoring and management
  • Experience with VoIP telecommunications systems
  • You know that you build quality systems so you're not afraid to be on-call from time to time.
  • Some scripting skills are desirable. We use BASH, PHP, Perl and Ruby—whatever makes the most sense for the job.
